When you start "Minecraft Launcher" for the first time you need to specify where your minecraft is installed.
Default: "AppData/Roaming/.minecraft"
1: Navigate to your install directory.
2: Highlight the folder ".minecraft"
3: Click "Open"
4: Click "OK" on the popup notification.
5: Your done!!
When it's time to play make sure you select the Profile: "Forge" to be able to use the mods.
Enter your nickname in the "username" field. Don't bother with a password for offline (cracked) servers. Click "Play"!
